I apologize if this has been asked and answered already, but I’m wondering about the discrepancy between the population figures for towns/villages/cities on p. 40 and the chart given on page 237.

For instance, p. 40 lists the size for a Class V market as being between 1250 and 3000, whilst the chart on p. 237 indicates that a settlement of similar size would be either Market IV or III. What am I missing?

the chart on page 40 is referring to number of citizens (1 person) while the chart on page 237 is counting “Families” (5 people).
