Edit: we kind of stalled out a bit, so if anyone wants to go ahead and grab a second or third post, please feel free. in addition, don't feel obliged to grab them in order. if you see a field you'd like to define, go ahead and claim it, and i'll sort it out when we're done.
This is an idea I had seen on various G+ groups doing things like post a hexmap and each person takes a turn populating the contents of a hex. This will be slightly more complicated since some of the fields will depend on those above it, so be sure to follow my suggestions below:
- when you first reply, simply list the number you wish to claim and nothing else, then hit reply.
- Go back and verify that nobody claimed the same number (unless that number allows for multiple entries)
- if there's a tie for a single entry field, give precedence to the first person to post.
- when you're sure you have a number, go back to your post and edit in your contribution.
- some of the fields may be strictly crunching numbers. feel free to grab a calculations only field along with your other, or to grab a second field if you're about to grab a calculated field.
- We may have more fields than contributers, so feel free to contribute multiple times. Try not to get more than 2 or 3 ahead of anyone else who is still actively contributing.
- When all numbers have been filled in, either I or someone else will go back and compile everything into a single entry. Maybe somebody ambitious will fill out an actual domain sheet. That will be a good time for a post mortem as well, so we can discuss tweaks to the empty list.
