I think I’ve reached the conclusion that if I were to convert Midnight, I’d want to tear it down to its thematic roots (“Sauron won, mankind is oppressed, all magic is being agglomerated, but the elves and the dwarves fight on against numberless orcs”) and then rebuild it in ACKSian style from there rather than trying to keep things close to their original state. That said, if I do ever get something solid in writing (with a probable name-change for IP purposes), I shall link it!
