Are there times and costs associated with character levelling from 1-2, 2-3 etc? I cant find it in the Judges Book or the Revised Rulebook… and its driving me NUTS!
No. You level up on accumulating sufficient xp. ACKS is B/X heritage, not AD&D heritage. Note that you only get xp on returning to civilization, not in the wilderness.
