Bladedancer class powers

Hi, I hope this is the correct subforum for this question.

I am referring to the ACKSII Revised Rules in the playtester folder. Bladedancer has both Strength of Faith and Weapon Finesse. I assume they are not cumulative, so that the Bladedancer may either use Dex or Will instead of Str for Melee. SoF is for all damage using STR, WF for all weapons she is proficient with, so there is some non-overlap. In practise, she will use whatever gives the higher bonus and the other proficiency will be lost. Is this deliberate?

Weapon Finesse affects the Attack Throw, but Strength of Faith affects the Damage Roll, so there’s no overlap.
