Will the account/personal flags be carried over, eventually?
On the old forum I had a text entry setting possibly unique to my ID. I don’t know if I want something similar here, because I’m new here. But I am planning to announce on the forum that I’ll be removing my blog in 6-9 months. Meanwhile, I’m looking for a replacement of sorts, and I first plan to try blog-like posts on the Autarch forum. Mostly text, I expect, but occasional tables and such. Any recommendation for such using the new forum?
Text entry setting - you mean the "filtered html’, “markdown”, etc, sort of choices?
Aside from the icon choices on post creation, Discourse does support Markdown, the first thing being the raw code as-entered and the second part being how Discourse formatted it:

Neat part about that is the various Markdown-formatted ACKS/HFH SRDs would be copy-pastable and look nice here.
