A PC bought and then freed an ogre slave. He was able to have the ogre join him as a henchman. I had to create racial values for ogres to create an Ogre warrior class. Based on the Lairs and Encounters rules that you start with 3000 xp for 1 HD and double therafter, I doubled the p costs with each asdded HD.
Ogre whelps are simply ogre 0 with fighter 1 and HD 3
Female Ogres are Ogre 2, FIghter 1, HD 3
Ogre Warriors are Ogre 3, HD3
Ogre Racial Levels
Ogre 0 - 100 XP
Choose two languages from common, eldritch, giant, gnoll, goblin, imperial, high imperial depending on their background.
Due to their large size they receive +1 hp (giving them an initial HD , however due to their bulk their base movement is 90’.
Ogre 1 – 1700 XP (note: xp costs for class categories, most racial powers doubled)
Two languages, +1 hp, and 90’ movement rate as above – 100 xp
Tough Skin - +1 AC - 125 xp (doubled to 250)
Strong - +1 to damage and bashing – 125 xp (doubled to 250)
Large - +1 HD (double all costs)
Encumbrance – encumbrance levels increased to gnoll levels – 50 xp (doubled to 100)
Fighter 1b – 500 xp (doubled to 1000)
Ogre 2 – 6300 xp (note: xp costs for class categories, most racial powers quadrupled)
Two languages, +1 hp, and 90’ movement rate as above – 100 xp
Tough Skin - +2 AC - 250 xp (quadruple to 1000)
Strong - +2 to damage and bashing – 250 xp (quadruple to 1000)
Large - +2 HD (quadruple all costs)
Encumbrance – encumbrance levels increased to bugbear levels – 75 xp (quadrupled to 300)
Fighter 2 – 1000 xp (quadrupled to 4000)
Ogre 3 – 22000 xp (note: xp costs for class categories, most racial powers x8)
Two languages, +1 hp, and 90’ movement rate as above – 100 xp (-100 round off discount)
Tough Skin - +3 AC - 500 xp (x8 to 4000)
Strong - +3 to damage and bashing – 500 xp (x8 to 4000)
Large - +3 HD (all costs x8)
Encumbrance – encumbrance levels increased to ogre levels – 250 xp (x8 to 2000)
Fighter 3 – 1500 xp (x8 to 12000)
