The Lakeys have completed another round of illustrations for the Adventurer Conqueror King Player’s Companion. The one shown above depicts a class created by Patron Deity Jeffrey Binder, who described the iconic image thusly:
A tall Zaharan male in battle-scarred plate armor and a tattered cloak about his shoulders stands in the foreground, an intimidating helm crafted in the likeness of a horned demon cast to the blackened ground at his feet. At his belt, a bone-crafted wand can be seen dangling. He leans slightly forward, his gauntleted hands resting on the handle of a wicked-looking great axe (axe head bearing arcane runes resting on the ground, handle pointing upward) – he has somewhat gaunt features, shoulder-length dark, curling hair, a knowing smirk on his face and dark eyes. Perched on his cast-aside helm, a sinister-looking rat with intelligent eyes sits on its hind legs, sniffing the air and observing the situation. In the background, the crumbling ruins of a building or city wall - smoke and fire may be seen rising behind him, with the possibility of the dark silhouettes of goblins, kobolds, or orcs skulking through the ruins and killing under the cover of the smoke.
