So…how much do bracers of armor cost to make?
Making a broach with the Shield spell active all the time would be 25,000gp.
I’m guessing that bracers would be about 5000gp per point?

Whoa! So does that mean something like a ring of the Shield spell shouldn’t be allowed (since it would be waaaay cheaper than those)?
That looks like the costs for magical armour extrapolated, shouldn’t bracers be cheaper since they don’t stack with armour or reduce encumbrance.
i’m curious where the pattern 1, 3, 7, 13, 21, 31, 43 (aka all the gp values divided by 5000) came from. it would be primes except for 21. the differences are 1, 2, 4, 5, 8, 10, 12… i’ve got nothing
I think you’ve made a math error. The differences are 1,2,4,6,8,10,12. So a_n = n^2-n+1
