It's nice to hear such high praise! Even if he hated my story prologue, RPG Pundit loved the domain-level rules.

ACKS has been called worst things than "the best version of D&D for domain level play", that's for sure!
He hated my "attack throw" mechanics too so don't feel bad.
It sounds like he just didn’t “get” the elegance of the to hit mechanic. As someone who not only had no problem with Thac0 but actually liked it, I can se this new mechanic takes that premise and improves on it. I also LOVE the proficiency rules. They totally make the game a new and authentic old school beast.
